pychromecast package

could this be backported to xenial?

Earlier this week I attempted to install the mkchromecast package, but was unable to do so due to unfulfilled requirements. This package is the one that blocked the install.

Given that xenial is LTS, could this package be backported to that release? I have no plans to migrate from xenial at this time.

There might be some other dependencies that have to be backported, too, but I think there is already a PPA providing this (general disclaimer for PPAs applies of course).
