I want to know if there is a program or tool that mute sound.
I want to mute all sound from Firefox on my Ubuntu machine with a mute button or something when I listen to music with Rhytmbox.
Previously I was looking for a mute-button on Firefox but i can't find. :s

Hi !
I think you can't with your base system. But pulseaudio, which will be included in the next ubuntu version allows that. You can give it a try. See https:/
