Voice Plugin is not working as another user on the call is not able to hear our voice in skype, facebook, gmail video call

Hi,

     When we have a skype call, another user on the call is not able to hear my voice. Same case with gmail voice call and facebook call.

My ubuntu version is 10.04

OS Full details are:--

Linux Anji-laptop 2.6.32-38-generic #83-Ubuntu SMP Wed Jan 4 11:13:04 UTC 2012 i686 GNU/Linux

Make sure you have the latest Skype, 2,2,0.35-1. The older 2.1 ... version did not do video with a 2.5... Android
but sound always worked. Look at the Skype options/sound devices. PulseAudio server is the setting you'd expect for the sound devices, so the sound level is actually controlled with the existing sound controls -- make sure you have the microphone level set to a reasonable level, use the local Sound Recording application to test your mic. Then use the Skype tests to make a test call.
