Current Xenial version of PulseAudio Equalizer results in volume going to 100% on reboot

Asked by bartman2589

Launchpad user alex-wv had incorporated a bug fix for the 100% volume issue in their releases of PulseAudio Equalizer, however it looks as if he has abandoned the project since it has not been released for Xenial (or newer).

Would you consider incorporating that fix in your version of PulseAudio Equalizer to fix this issue for those of us still experiencing it?

His Launchpad ppa is located at:

https://launchpad.net/~alex-wv/+archive/ubuntu/pulseaudio-equalizer-ppa

I (and I'm sure others) would be very grateful if you would incorporate that fix (assuming it actually works when incorporated that is).

Thank you,
bartman2589

There are other PPAs with a version of pulseaudio-equalizer for xenial and later, e.g. ppa:nilarimogard/webupd8
Maybe the fix that you are talking about is incorporated in one of them.

Can you help with this problem?
