pstotext ubuntu24.04 availability

Asked by Bami

Please when is pstotext going to be available for ubuntu24.04, as we have a Python program that we would like to make compatible with the new LTS, but this is the only dependency blocker remaining.

https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pstotext

Above is a list of all versions currently supported

Most of those docs note that the module was later removed from the Debian unstable list, plus I don't really get to choose which is used so I can't apply ps2ascii as a replacement as pstotext is a dependency in one of the python modules the program relies on hence the need for the requirement

Deleted in noble-release (Reason: (From Debian) ROM; No upstream, superceeded by ps2ascii; ...)

Which Python module depends on pstotext? I assume that this must be something from a foreign source outside Ubuntu.
