Not all metrics populated in Ubuntu version?

Asked by yvoictra

I have the prometheus-postfix-exporter in my Ubuntu 22.04 and I have lost several metrics.

I have checked the official repo, and it seems I am not the only one who noticed that, and other people have solved it using the master repo.

https://github.com/kumina/postfix_exporter/issues/95

Is it a bug of the Ubuntu version?

Thanks.

I suggest you report a bug. If it is a duplicate then it will be marked as such. You can then monitor the bug for when the fix is applied

The version number in Ubuntu jammy and later (0.3.0-1) indicates, that the package was copied from Debian without any further modification. It would be good to verify, whether the problem with missing metrics is also present in Debian, and if it is, a bug report should also be created in the Debian bug tracker.

Can you help with this problem?
