Who is the current maintainer? There needs to be some updating going on here, security wise.

Who is the maintainer of this? If there isint one, can we find someone to do it. Proftpd is used quite a bit in production, and its a bit disconcerting that only an older version is available in the repos. Not everyone has the time and energy to compile this on each machine, especially in a production environment.

A security minded friend of mine was nice enough to point out that my server was vaunerable to intrusion using SQL injection. When something like this is fixed upstream, it should probably be fixed downstream also.
