Help installing/running powertweak on ubuntu 12.04

Asked by Andrew Newton

Nothing from sourceforge.net seems to work. I can download and extract the files, but do not know how to compile them for installation. Can someone help me with a script?

You do realize that the app you are wanting to use hasn't been updated in 9 YEARS. It's dead! I wouldn't bother with it.

The usual way to build software on linux is to cd into the directory that you extracted the files into and type ./configure, once that process has finished type make, and once that has finished type sudo make install the ./configure stage is not always nesscarry and it is also worth reading the file Readme or install file that often comes with the software, in case there are any extra stages.

What do you want to achieve and we may be able to advise rather than using some very dead software....

Can you help with this problem?
