Can somebody build a package with the vda-patch?

Can't somebody build a package with the VDA patch? VDA adds quota support for maildir-mailboxes. http://vda.sourceforge.net/

There is a PPA with "Postfix package with vda patch applied" for Ubuntu 12.04:

I do not know if that does what you are looking for.

Have you ever thought of trying to compile such version yourself?
