https://packages.ubuntu.com/hirsute/pommed
According to the package dependencies
libconfuse2 Library for parsing configuration files
According to the changelog: Support Macbook Pro 9.1
https://changelogs.ubuntu.com/changelogs/pool/universe/p/pommed/pommed_1.39~dfsg-5.1/changelog
Hope this may help.

Bernard - so you are saying no it does not? I do not have a macbook pro 9.1. I have a macbook air 5.1.

Looking at the source files it seems to me that there was no change in the software since 2011, just a patch to add macbook 9.1 (from 2012). I do not see any reference to newer hardware. Adding hardware requires a program change and cannot be done by just adding a config file.

If you ask me - that software project is dead and should be removed from Ubuntu.

Can you help with this problem?
