How to continue boot animation script in Plymouth?

Asked by Soumya Kanti Sar

I was creating a very advanced plymouth theme with nice design like the one shown in this video (“https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P5Ra_Spmz7E”).

If you watch this video you will find that it’s a lengthy one and may not be shown fully if the booting happens very fast.

So i wanna know if there some way or function or any workaround how i can continue the animation progress to its end (even if the display manager has loaded or may be delay the loading to show the animaiton).

I have also asked a question on the Stackoverflow site (“http://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/257181/how-to-continue-animation-in-plymouth”) but I have not got an answer or positive reply yet.

I am looking for a one stop solution in which i will be able to do the continuation in my plymouth script itself.

So you'd rather sit and watch a boot splash than get to the desktop and do your work?

Really?
