Kubuntu boot logo in Lucid?

Asked by aspa

I installed Lucid Lynx around the end of the alpha phase and
after some update I started to see kubuntu boot logo during boot.
Is this intentional?
If not, for which package should I report the bug?

Try removing the plymouth-theme-kubuntu-logo package and installing the plymouth-theme-ubuntu-logo package.

Thanks, it worked.
I removed the kubuntu logo package and since the ubuntu logo package was already present I reinstalled it.

However, the logo is configured only for the latest kernel version installed, and e.g. not the currently executing kernel.
I had to run an older kernel for a while because the latest didn't boot on my machine.
