i have penguin linux on chromebook os and need kali linux and vmware and cant get it to work

i have a chromebook os. it have a terminal and linux on it its penguin. im trying to get kali linux and virtualbox or vmware but i cant seem to change penguin to kali nor get vmware to download... someone please help me with the correct answer

This is a question area for Ubuntu only, and not for other operating systems, even if they are "based on Ubuntu" (like Linux Mint). As far as I know, Kali Linux is not based on Ubuntu, so that's even more out-of-scope.

What CPU architecture does your device have?

Some Operating Systems and/or virtualization tools are available only for Intel/AMD architecture, but not for systems with ARM CPU.
