Would it be possible to backport the version in the Quantal repos to Precise?

Every time I play music in Amarok or whatever music player using Precise, Plasma Workspace crashes. This bug is confirmed in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/plasma-widget-menubar/+bug/1000506 and is reported in https://bugs.launchpad.net/plasma-widget-menubar/+bug/1052192. Installing plasma-widget-menubar from the Quantal repos fixes this problem. . Since Precise is an LTS release, would it be possible to backport the Quantal version to Precise? Thanks.
