how do i mute the clip audio?

I'm trying to make a video for youtube.. how do i mute the volume on the clips that i have.. so i just hear the music audio? (from the mp3 only!)

Select the clip on the timeline, click the unlink (or ungroup?) button on the timeline toolbar, then select only the audio part and delete it.

Make sure you have some other audio track though, as pitivi will not really cope well with rendering only video.
