Pidgin 2.6.1 audio chat problem

Ok ppl, here's the deal. I've installed pidgin 2.6.1 with a/v support to my xubuntu jaunty 64bit system. The problem is that during voice conversation the person hears me perfectly and i hear only noise. Any ideas?
