Trying to make a new screen name

first question... How do I add another name to my instant messanger list... I tried to add one and it wont allow me to sign on it. Second when I bring up pidgen buddies list there are a lot of categories that I didn't add how do I take them out and add my own

Hi,

If I understand your question correctly you want to be able to do two things,

(1) Add another account to IM with and
(2) Add and remove the groups you see in your buddy list?

If I misunderstood you, please let me know.

For (1) you do the following:

(1) From the Buddy List window click "Accounts"
(2) Click on "Manage Accounts"
(3) A new window should come up, click the add (+) button in this window
(4) Another window will pop up, in this window you put all the information for your new account.
(5) Hit save

To do (2) you do the following

(1) To Remove a group right click on it and hit the "Delete Group (-)" button. This will remove any buddies you have in that group, so you might want to move them to another group (by dragging them into that group in your buddy list)

(2) To add a group Click on the "Buddies" menu at the top of the buddy list, and then left-click on "Add Group", enter the name of the group and hit "Add"
