Use the "Join A Chat" entry on the "Buddies" menu. You need to choose the
correct account and supply the name of the chat.

there r no list of chat rooms available, so how do you know which one to choose or supply at the dialoge box

Depending on the protocol your using, you can use tools -> roomlist.
