Import Yahoo Msg history archive into Pidgin

Hello to all,
recently I switch from Win to Ubuntu, my problem is the following: How can I import Yahoo Msg history archive into Pidgin?
Yahoo stores the archive in this path C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\Profiles\youryahooaccount\Archive\Messages\budyname in *.dat format.

If you had a sample file you could send me, I could look at it and see how hard it would be to import.
