cant get pidgin to connect to yahoo

I'm new to using Pidgin I tried to set up with my yahoo and get this massage
" Account locked: Too many failed login attempts. Logging into the Yahoo! website may fix this.

I have log in 3 times in two day and it did nothing to change this
is there a setting to get it working?

No idea, I don't use yahoo. I didn't think anyone did as it's not 1999 anymore. Have you tried it? The app recommends it so have you done it?

It is saying that your Yahoo account is locked. If you can log in to yahoo from a web browser I would check with them. This does not appear to be a Pidgen issue. It seems to be a problem with your yahoo account. You could always create a test yahoo account and then delete it I guess just for testing.

I have another and tried it, in doing that I saw what I did wrong and now I got it right. thanks
