Unable to run Pidgin

I recently set up a new computer for one of our employees and was able to run Pidgin. The employee came in this morning and said that she could not run Pidgin and got the following error message:

There was an error launching the application

Detailed: Failed to execute child process "pidgin" (No such file or directory)

This is on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS running kernel version 2.6.32-28 generic.

Try:

sudo apt-get --reinstall install pidgin
