web cam, cheese and pidgin?

ok, so i downloaded cheese web cam works there, but when i go to pidgen, its not showing when u go to conversation>media>video call, i tried going into the plug in section on pidgen, and adjust audio video settings, idont know what else to check?? please help and ty :)

Its a terminal command. Copy the command to terminal and hit ENTER. Copy the output ad paste here as an update

Try:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:pj-assis/ppa; sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get -y upgrade

May help (reboot to test).If not, run:

sudo modprobe-r uvcvideo; sudo modprobe uvcvideo quirks

did the first, rebooted, still not showing up in chat, tried second, said sudo: modprobe-r: command not found

ok, restarted, cam is working again, but still not in pidgin
