Sorting buddies by status

Is it possible to sort my buddies only by their online/offline status, and not by group?
So the only two "groups" will be the online and offline group.

well, an indirect solution would be to clear all groups (or create only one) and turn on 'Show Offline Contacts' in the pidgin menu...

Yes i thougt about that, bu i still want to be able to send messages to an entire group. But if clearing all groups is the only solution, i might end up doing that.

in pidgin, go to Buddies->Sort Buddies->By status :)

your groups will be kept as they are :)
