please help i just accidently deleted a folder with 5 or 6 gib on a fat 32

on a fat 32 partision i just deleted a important folder or 6 gig of files in it
i thaught i was deleting one on my desk top because it was the selected folder but it dident dissapere but a folder in an open window did dissapere i dont want to do any thing until i get it bak

any sugestion onv what software i shouldv vuse i checked synaptic and dident find any thing im useing mavric and have no bakup i know the folder name im getting sick over this one

good you know i clicked on the pidgin help box and went down to online help
the only option and it sent me here i would just like some
old fashion directions. none of the stuff is recognizable to me i went to
gmail and there is pop imap i couldn't find any thing on chat 3rd party. i
hate to go here but i gues this is help? im sure with no directions how
would any one know how? & gmail is right on their list, come on. I just dont
get it.?

If your using a linux flavor, try: http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk

autopsy: in ubuntu repos...--might use Sleuth kit, also in repo's

testdisk is the best and so easy to use my files and folder are all back & it only took about 7 min. total and thats icluding instlling it. thank you. THAT WAS EASY, Over

THE PIGDEN PROBLEM SOLVED TOO I JUST USE EMPATHY INSTEAD AND I COULDENT GET MY LIVE ACCOUNT OR MY YAHOO TO WORK WITH IT BUT IT HAS IMPORT ACCOUNT SO I GOT LIVE ON PIDGEN AND YAHOO ON INSTABIRD OR GWIBBLER OR SOMETHING I IMPORTED THEM INTO EMPATHY AND GOT THEM ALL N ONE & I DONT EVEN USE OR LIKE TO CHAT ISANT THAT GREAT?
