como puedo iniciar una charla por el microfono?

en el messenger de yahoo se puede llamar a otras personas y hablar por el microfono.me gustaria saver si pidgin tiene esta opcion y como agregarla si la tiene.

Hola, estuve revisando y pidgin no tiene esa opción. Descubrí también que Empathy (el programa de chat que viene con Ubuntu) trae esta opción instalada, y también permite conectarse con una cuenta de yahoo chat.
Convendría que intentaras con Empathy.
