Expected release date for 7.0.8?

Do we have an expected release timeline for PHP 7.0.8 to go from xenial-proposed to release?

(Apologies if this isn't the right place to ask, I did search for how the package release process works but couldn't find anything useful)

Hello and thank you for asking a very good question!

The policy for proposed to release migration is documented here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ProposedMigration

The biggest roadblock, probably, for php7.0 right now is the various bugs marked as being fixed by it (LP: #1596578, LP: #1569128, LP: #1595215) need verification that they are properly fixed by the proposed version. I will go and verify that now where I can.
