pgool2 new release 2.3 availiable

There is a new release ready for pgpool2, which I really would like to test in our 2-server setup, as we continually run into problems with load-balancing.

When and how can this release be converted to an Ubuntu Karmic package?

do you mean pgpool2?

There are 3 repos here with 2.2.4:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+ppas?name_filter=pgpool2

You could contact them to see if they have any inclination of compiling and hosting the 2.3 version. They may accomodate you :)
