pdfshuffler fails to produce an export pdf file

pdfshuffler (Ubuntu Lucid) takes no action at all when trying to save the modified file via the 'Export pdf' button after the name of the file to be saved to has been entered. Are there any other programs that can re-arrange pages in a pdf file and generate the corresponding output as a pdf file?

The problem turned out to be that the source file was encrypted and pdfshuffler does not yet handle such files. Gordon Oulsnam
