Asked by Pierre

PdfEdit is listed in Synaptic (12.10) but it cannot be installed because no package is available for downloading.

see http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=678046

Due to incompatibilities (Qt3 versus Qt4) the package pdfedit has been removed from Debian, and consequently it has also been removed from Ubuntu quantal.

I assume that as soon as a Qt4-based verson is created, it will be made available for Ubuntu again.

Thanks,

It would be better off not being listed in Synaptic though. It is only confusing and makes Ubuntu look buggy.
