Asked by Juan P. Tamayo

I can't select on the pavucontrol package (PulseAudio Volume Control) on lubuntu, my old TV to listen on it the music or any other sound.
I have connected my old TV with my graphic card by HDMI.

Thanks a lot

I have visit this link, but I have seen that I have the last PulseAudio version installed (9.0):
https://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/PulseAudio/

On the LXTerminal, I just typed:
pgrep -l pulseaudio
Then, the response for the command was: 1357 pulseaudio

So, I download lib32-libpulse from:
https://www.archlinux.org/packages/multilib/x86_64/lib32-libpulse/
Extract it to a new lib32-libpulse folder.

Also, I downloaded lib32-alsa-plugins from:
https://www.archlinux.org/packages/multilib/x86_64/lib32-alsa-plugins/
Extract it to a new lib32-alsa-plugins folder.

Follow this command line process:
sudo apt-get install xdeb
xdeb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian sid main

But, I don't know how to install neither lib32-libpulse nor lib32-alsa-plugins.

First of all, thank you very much for everyone who could help me in this problem

Mixing Debian and Ubuntu packages will give you a big mess of a system. The dependencies are different and you won't be able to update your OS.

I found on the back of my TV an input to a 3.5 mm jack, that can be used to connect the TV with my PC, directly from the motherboard audio output, to mix the HDMI with the 3.5 mm jack.

So, that could be a choice to solve the problem.

Thanks
