How to delete a post from pastebin.com through command line.

Asked by Harpreet Singh

I have added a post using pastebinit.
I have a habit of deleting my posts after the use is over, but after creating it with this I am not able to delete it (from CLI as well as GUI).

They only last a few days and are then deleted, I wouldn't worry too much

Hi Thanx for the reply.

But it is not a worry (as for confidential data I don't use this).
Rather I was checking for this feature, as I like to do (delete my posts) it.

Anyway thanx.

what is the exact number of days until the post is deleted? this is rather important to me at the moment :)

My guess is that pastebin.ubuntu.com takes an entire YEAR to be deleted.

Experience proves that a year isn't enough.

That post you mention:

is 4 years old.

My guess is there's no expiration. It will stay as long as the server is up.
