pan package

After install of proposed updates and 2.6.35.28 tonight pan no longer connects

as stated above, after install was made via update manager, Pan 0.133 would no longer connect. No other app's seem to be affected. I re-booted back to 2.6.35.27 but still no happiness.

cleared problem: shut down system and did a cold start. Problem solved.
