why were pam-keyring removed on gutsy?

why were pam-keyring removed on gutsy?
for avoiding having to enter the keyring password all the time, i have to have pam-keyring installed - the problem is i had to make a tarball of this .deb package for not being removed by apt-get or synaptic updates...
would be great pam-keyring being back in the Ubuntu repositories, or nm-applet having an option of avoiding us to be nagged into that so annoying password entering for keyring, which i'm sure there is no reason at all having to enter a password for that....
