FAQ #3037: “no rolling release”.

You may login and help modify and help change the package.
Ubuntu accepts packaging from Debian to avoid duplication of packaging.
If Debian changes their packaging then after,
Ubuntu will through new releases of Ubuntu.
Otherwise the only revised packaging is through security updates which is immediate.
