owncloud client future releases in LTS 16.04

Hi,
I wonder if, in Ubuntu Xenial, owncloud-client and nautilus-owncloud packages is planned to be upgraded to version greater than 2.1.x, which have some bugs. I saw that last update of this package was in April 2016.
As alternative, I know that I could move to 17.xx versions, but on my Dell laptop at work I would stick on 16.04, since Dell provides official support only for LTS releases.
