Downloading the ISO of Ophcrack

Asked by Sergio Ribeiro

Today I needed to get the Ophcrack live CD version from http://ophcrack.sourceforge.net/download.php?type=livecd and I am having a problem burning the CD. My first problem was that when I burned the CD it said an error occurred. Is this because it was meant for Windows? The name of the software package was ophcrack XP LiveCD (ophcrack-xp-livecd-2.3.1.iso). The md5 check sum is "1332a09a351b3f05a7524dded9cdedb1." Does this software package give problems on Ubuntu or am I just doing something incorrectly? I also tried getting it in the Ubuntu Software Center (USC). I got the ophcrack as a gui and now I can't find where Linux stored the file, I even tried locating it at command line. Where exactly does Linux store files from the USC if it is not specifically categorized? How would you locate it at the command line?

Is this because it was meant for Windows? No.
Does this software package give problems on Ubuntu or am I just doing something incorrectly? It's not a package but a Live CD. So it should includes it's own OS (probably Linux) and doesn't need not Ubuntu neither Windows.
How would you locate it at the command line? Check in Menu "System Tools" and "System->Administration".

Can you help with this problem?
