Will openssl 1.0.2 from jessie-backports get into trusty-backports?

Asked by mjb2kmn

I am hoping for ALPN support from openssl 1.0.2 in ubuntu-server 14.04 and noticed openssl is now in jessie-backports.
https://packages.debian.org/jessie-backports/openssl
Since 14.04 is based on jessie repository (right?) will openssl 1.0.2 make it to trusty-backports?

Only after adding this question did I find all the other similar questions about openssl 1.0.2 and 14.04. This question still stands as separate and can be rephrased as such: does openssl 1.0.2 being available in jessie-backports have any bearing on whether or not it would be included in trusty-backports?

Still unable to find an answer to this. If nobody knows the answer off the top of their head, could someone point me to policy documentation or if there is any precedence that might suggest what will be done in this case?
