Is there a way to ask openssh not to validate the remote host identity?

Asked by Uqbar

I'd need to run ssh while disabling the remote host identity check.
I want to avoid updating the ~/.ssh/known_hosts file.

This is possible with dropbear (dbclient -y) and am trying to do the same with openssh.
But what about openssh?
