recovering document saved over

I accidentally saved over one of my other openoffice word documents. Is there any way to get that document back?

Its possible you can load the one you saved and hit undo a bunch of times, other than that this is a example of why to backup your things to an alternate working directory, or external media.

If you already closed the document, the undo option is not active anymore...
There's any hidden support copy, like the .tmp in windows?

Recover an earlier version of an Office file
Open the file you were working on.
Go to File > Info.<a href="https://thepinsa.com/best-victoria-secret-perfume/">look here</a>
Under Manage Workbook or Manage Presentation, select the file labeled (when I closed without saving).
In the bar at the top of the file, select Restore to overwrite any previously saved versions.
