Change default font in Calc

I want to change default font (arial) to Times new roman. There is no option like write. Please help me on this issue.

Hi,
Format > Styles and Formating {F11}
and change the default style to the font you like...

I did it other way also, i changed the template but your solution is more effective and i am using it.

I followed this advise and was able change the fonts for the document as a default. But every time I created a new spreadhseet it again reverted to Arial. So, I followed the details on this link http://openoffice.blogs.com/openoffice/2007/07/correcting-a-sm.html and changed the default template in openoffice and I am all set. I create a new document and my fonts of bitstream sans are the default. Pretty cool. Thanks to the blog.
