Slideshow in OO 3.1 Ubuntu 9.10 works not properly

I made a slideshow in OO 2.5 and it worked okay under OO 3.0. Now I upgraded Ubuntu to 9.10 with OO 3.1 and the slide show does niot work properly during the presentation. The slides are not coming in smoothly and changing from slide the present is shown another time for a few seconds.
Who can help me as I do not want to make a new one.
