Is it possible to use a program written in language "C" in state of OObasic to make a macro in OO spreadsheet ?

There is a scripting framework for OpenOffice, you can find it here: http://framework.openoffice.org/scripting/release-0.1/index.html

I haven't done it myself, but I'm pretty sure you can use C++ to make plugins.
