Curser jumps to another line while typing

Typing a sentence, in office or facebook - where ever. I'll be in the middle of a word and the courser will jump back to where the mouse is sitting as if I had just hit the mouse button. I do have the mouse pad to 'touch' but I definitely didn't touch anything! Was very frequent last time I was on... any suggestions?

The majority of touchpads are reacting to heat, så even if your palm is not touching, it can still be activated. Otherwise it might be an issue with your hardware. Try turning the touchpad 'click' off and if that doesnt help, try report it as a bug.
