open office documents won't print whereas other things print off computer.

Open office documents won't print. Other things print off email, etc. Printer is obviously connected to Ubuntu. Any ideas? Did print test succesfully. Prints spreadsheets. Hit print on openoffice word and NOTHING happans.

Does OO know your printer (File > Printer Settings)?

Thanks, Peter, for answering my question. Today when I turned on the computer, it began to print the document, so evidently OO knows my printer. I recently loaded Ubunto 9 on the computer and I guess snags are ironing themselves out. Kathleen
