Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and helping to make Ubuntu better. Examining the information you have given us, this does not appear to be a bug report so we are closing it and converting it to a question in the support tracker. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but it would make more sense to raise problems you are having in the support tracker at https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu if you are uncertain if they are bugs. For help on reporting bugs, see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs#When%20not%20to%20file%20a%20bug.

Gracias

Translation:

I've got three partitions on my hard drive, at the first one i've got Windows, at the second one i've got my data files (spreadsheets, writings, pictures, etc) and in the third one, Xubuntu. If i want to open a file from the second partition, the partition is not recognized by the system, so i cannot open any file. None of the openoffice programs can open any file. What should i do in order to get all the partitions recognized?

Hi Mujica

What format is the second partitions?

Does Xubuntu mount it?

Can you see your data files in Xubuntu's file manager?

Tony
