using headers, how to stop it from changing my page numbers when I try to put a diferent number on each page header

When I insert headers, I try to put a different page number on each one but when I type in a number say on page two, all teh headers change to say "2". How can I put different numbers on each pager header without it changing all the others?

To add page numbers to each page, you can use the "Insert page Number" utility. If you put your cursor where you want your page number and then go to Insert->Fields->Page Number it should put the proper page number on each page.
