Change colors of arrow head (not the line)

Asked by Kayvee

Is there any way to change the color of only the arrow head of a line? Actually I am using a sphere instead of an arrow and would like to change only the color of the sphere at the end of the line.

Are you using Draw? I can draw a line with no arrows then add a small coloured circle (from Basic Shapes) at the end of it. Or a coloured bullet from the Gallery.

Currently, that is what I am doing. I draw a line and a sphere
separately first; arrange them at the right places and 'Group' both of
them. However, there is an easier way to draw a line that ends with a
sphere. Simply draw a line with an arrow head and change the arrow head
to a filled circle (or any one of the shapes that come with OOo). The
only problem with the easy method is that one cannot control the line
and line-end separately - you can only change color of the entire
line+linehead.

I have looked at the way arrow styles are defined and there is only shape information. Colour is only defined for the line style, including its arrows. Sorry, I don't think what you want to do is possible.

Thank you Tony. I think it is a good option to have... may be I will add it to the wishlist at OOo.
