Create a chart with more than one y axis

Asked by Mr Ed

I am trying to chart my daily weight and blood sugar readings. Since the 2 numbers are so far apart (if they were closer I would not need to chart them, assuming the lower scale :-). I am trying to have the dates across the bottom, the weight increments (150, 160 ... 300) on the left and blood sugar increments (50, 55, 60 ... 200) on the right.

I wish I knew the proper 'charteese' to ask the question in. Maybe 2 different scales in one chart?

Also, how do I manually set a data range. The blood sugar always has a lower value of 0. I would like it to be 50 with an upper value of 250.

Thanks!

Hi,

You can have a look at forum threads on OpenOffice. For instance, http://www.linuxtopia.org/online_books/office_guides/openoffice_calc_user_guide/openoffice_calc_Secondary_y-axes.html .

Hope this helps!

Thanks, not only did it answer my question but gave me an additional source for help then just the one pointed to by the 'Get help online' menu item.
