In calc view do not get data source item to begin label process

In Calc you can get data sources by pressing F4, but I don't think that is the point here. You can set up an address database using but then you need to Save it to use it for labels. Then use File > Wizards > Address Data Source to register it as your address data source. Then use File > New > Labels to set up labels.

If you haven't used OOo for labels before, please note that that when you have set up labels with address data source fields on them you need to select Print to get a further dialog to filter/select addresses and decide if you want to output direct to printer, or to a file first.
