the issue seems to be with the CD rather than a bug

Try making a new Ubuntu Cd using a cheaper 'write once' cd rather than an expensive and possibly specialist data dvd. Cds tend to burn slower than dvds which helps a lot :)

I had been checked the MD5sum before I burned a DVD iso using in K3B. And I use the low speed(2.4x) burn into DVD.
And I had been checked CD for defect is no problem.

Can I using in 8.04 upgrade to 9.04?

I boot-up 9.04 have this message:
..MP-BIOS bug:8254 timer not connexted to IO-APIC
I add the "noapic" when boot-up. But my blue tooth mouse can not detect and using.
How to fix this?

Tks for reply!!

Yes you can upgrade 8.04 to 9.04 but this needs to be asked as a separate question
https://answers.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+addquestion

And the bluetooth question sounds like someone can solve that too, again please post as a separate question

Sorry, i just fon't know the answers to these questions but when you post as a new question it will pass by the front desk where there are lots of people that will probably be able to help :)
Good luck and regards from
Tom :)
